Kick Property Finance is a specialist mortgage and property finance broker based in Stockport, serving clients across Greater Manchester and the wider UK. We focus specifically on what mainstream brokers struggle with: complex mortgages, property investment finance and specialist lending.

Our Story

Founded by Nicholas Robert Harding and Katherine Suzanne Jones, Kick Property Finance was built on a simple principle: clients deserve specialist advice from people who genuinely understand their needs. Rather than trying to process hundreds of standard mortgages, we focus on getting complex deals done right.

Meet Nick & Katherine — Our Story

Kick Property Finance is a genuine family business, run by husband-and-wife team Nick and Katherine. Both were born and raised in Stockport and now live in Marple, and they’re proud to be part of the local community.

Family is at the heart of everything they do. Nick and Katherine have three young children under six, which keeps them very busy and their hands full — though they always wanted a big family. Their eldest is already a proud Stockport County fan, just like his dad.

Nick and Katherine both studied at university in Sheffield. Football runs in Katherine’s blood — she played women’s football for Stockport County Ladies for over twenty years and went on to work as a Sports Development Officer. Nick has served with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue for over twelve years and has a lifelong passion for martial arts.

Our Journey

Their journey into property began around seven years ago, buying and refurbishing homes across the North West and steadily building a property portfolio which Katherine runs day to day.

That hands-on experience led them to launch Kick EPC, their Energy Performance Certificate business, which has been going strong for four years and is rated 5 by local homeowners, landlords and agents.

-Kick Property Finance grew naturally out of all this. So many of their EPC and property clients knew how passionate Nick and Katherine were about property and kept asking for help with their mortgages too, wanting the full package of mortgage and EPC handled in one place.

So they launched Kick Property Finance to offer exactly that: mortgages and specialist finance for landlords and first-time buyers, with advice from people who genuinely understand property and the option of your EPC sorted alongside it.
